The motor enclosure is explosion proof, dust ignition proof, factory mutual approved for: Class 1, Div. 1, Groups C & D and Class 2, Div. 1, Groups E, F, & G indoor and outdoor hazardous locations. In addition the unit is Nema 4 watertight has built-in limit switches engineered for long, trouble free life permits easy adjustment and control of high or low settings.

 Model 4000 Tachometer
The transducer for Model 4000 tachometer iseasily installed by attaching the magnet and bearing to the driven shaft.
The transducer then 'reads' the RPM of the monitored shaft be counting the number of pulses generated by the poles in the magnet.
When used in conjunction with our Series 45 drives, the driven shaft is not exposed, such that the transducer must be affixed to the drawbolt of our spring-loaded pulley.For your convenience-we will provide a special drilled & tapped drawbolt with the tachometer, so that it can be installed easily.
When ordering, simply request the SPEC #377 modification and specify the model number of the pulley on which it will be installed. |
